In the next of our popular PPFA Online Speaker Series, Joyce Michels, MCPF, will present Screen Mounting for Textiles.
In this hour-long presentation, Joyce will discuss what type of textiles benefit from this mounting method; give recommendations on the best materials to use; show the technique, step-by-step; and address time and pricing.
Joyce, who has specialized in framing military items and textiles for 23 years, owns Michels Frames & Things in St Robert, Mo., near the Fort Leonard Wood US Army base.
She began framing as a hobby while stationed in Germany with her husband. She earned her CPF designation in 1998 and MCPF in 2005.
A long-time PPFA educator and a regular speaker at the annual PPFA Convention, she has served on the PPFA Certification Board, PPFA International Board of Directors; and is a PPFA Competition Judge.
