Hi. I received a brochure insert with my September issue of PFM and went to the WCAF website, but I can't seem to find a list of the classes being offered this year. Can someone tell me where I can find that? Every year, it seems the classes I want to register for get filled-up, so I wanted to get a jump on it this year. Thanks!

Liz,

I know that they are just confirming all the classes with the instructors as we speak...so you are a little early this year. If I recall it is typically late October, early November when we see the full listings.

Either way, I'm sure they will time it so that you are too busy and miss the announcement! Just kidding... Keep checking back and we should all see something soon.

John

Be sure to go ahead and register for the trade show and you will get an email as soon as the list is available. As John said usually early November.

Thanks for the info. My decision whether to attend WCAF Expo is largely dependent on the classes being offered. For me, the classes are primary and the trade show secondary. But, that's just me. I'll check back on the website in November. Thanks, again.

Liz, I agree. For the first few years it was to see the trade show, but for the last several years, my primary emphasis is classes, followed by meeting new and seeing old framer friends. Last year I was there for 5 nights, and probably only spent maybe 3 hours on the floor.

Hope you see the class list and find some classes you can't live without!

If you're wondering whether to plan the Las Vegas trip, consider that whatever topics interest you, it's a safe bet that they will be included in the National Conference and/or PPFA Convention. Those two events run concurrently in the same venue and comprise the most comprehensive offering of framing education anywhere in the world.

In my opinion, the National Conference and PPFA Convention truly are the University of Framing, but the many exhibitors and peripheral events are also irresistible.

See you there!
