Washing away the dust!

Nothing like 6-8"s of rain falling in 2 hours to make a your back room dust free!

Two weekends in a row that I have had water in the back of the shop. Yesterdays was the worst yet. No customer damage at all and no real damage but the carpet I left in the back storage room is leaving!

Yuck! Everything that I haven't touched in forever is being donated or trashed and the back room will be much neater after the mess is cleaned up.

Sorry to hear this Mikki. That is a lot of rain. Could the flood in your workshop have been prevented by using sandbags?

Nope! Just a perfect storm Kai. 6-8 inches in a two hour span is just to much water. It came in over a 7' back door threshold.

Kind of wish I had seen the river I must have had in the back alley.

I empathise with you Mikki. I hate heavy rain. I've had multiple events at the shop, at home and a storage unit, and would really prefer that rain was banned completely!

It does help you to get rid of clutter, but it makes do differentiation between good and bad!
