I haven't seen any information posted here about long time framers and PPFA members Patrice Marquardt and her husband Tim Sykora, owners of Marshall's Framing in Marshall, Mi. I know they wouldn't ask themselves but I wanted to let other PPFA members know that Tim is undergoing treatment for cancer and their friends are throwing a benefit to help with ever increasing medical expenses.

More information is here on this FB page

Tim and Patrice are very active members of Great Lakes PPFA and have often given classes at these events.

Thanks for posting this John. We sent the organizers and offer to help out and never heard back from them. I know Patrice would be so happy to see any of her framing comrades there! The Great Lakes Chapter is planning a follow up benefit for Tim in the future.

KY/ TN chapter is sending a small donation to the fundraiser. Several of us in the chapter have had medical issues come up and know how hard it can be to cover all the bases.

We also LOVE an out of the box shadowbox around here.

Best thoughts go out to Tim for a quick recovery and whipping cancer!

Good luck with the event and share some photos from the auction!

That is super nice of your chapter Mikki, thank you! Any one interested, Tim is co owner of Marshall Framing Studio in Marshall Michigan, his wife Patrice Marquart CPF is a long time board member of the Great Lakes Chapter and currently the Secretary, she is also an accredited judge and teacher in our industry. Together they have won numerous awards and are big supporters of the PPFA and their home town.
Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated by them.
