We went to see "The Monuments Men" last night. It was very good- both as a film and as a history lesson.

And the FRAMES! THE FRAMES! We watched the end credits to see who might have done some of the frames. As always, there was credit to the artists who duplicated the art, but no word on the frames. Sigh.

Ellen,

We passed on seeing "The Monuments Men" as I heard two reviews on Public Radio...and neither was fantastic....decided to save it for the video rental.

However we did watch "Dallas Buyers Club" which was absolutely an amanzing movie with several actors having superb performances. Tonight we are watching "The Butler" and earlier this week, we watched "Blue Jasmine".

Can you tell that we are trying to get prepared for Oscars Week! :thumb:

Ellen yes nice stuff....I did not expect to see framing credits. I have done framing for movie sets before no mention of the where they get any of the set props ever....

James,

She actually did a very nice job playing Nancy Reagan. Although the movie was a little predictable and I would caulk it up for video if you have not yet seen it.
