Everyone who made the Las Vegas Convention such a success deserve to be thanked and acknowledged. It was a great forum for learing on all sides.

Yes, thanks to all. From those that helped with the planning, to those that did all of the stuff behind the scenes, to the instructors. (including you Hugh). And of course the competition group and judges, and all of the other members of the various committees.

During the chapter conference, someone had an "organization chart" of PPFA, and only after looking at that does one realize how many volunteer framers there are that help make the PPFA great.

It was great how John Pruitt stepped in this year, and does Robin Gentry know what she is getting herself into?

The one supposedly negative of the event was the "accidentally planned" extreme distance from the Las Vegas Room at one end of Bally, to the Bronze rooms at the extreme other end (about 1/3 of a mile away). This resulted in a lot of walking.

However I now realize this was really planned by some planning genius. When I got on my scales this morning I only gained 1.4 pounds after all of those buffets, dinners, breakfasts, snacks, a few drinks, etc. All that walking helped keep me from gaining even more. Thanks planning genius!

It was a Great Convention as always. Got to meet many new faces and see new vendors. The Show Floor was wonderful and full of ideas and new mouldings. Hope you all made a few minutes to take a walk around the the floor. The Classes were Amazing. I did a few of the round tables and got some Great Information. I am with Russ the planning was genius so we could all eat and not gain all that weight! I was thrilled with the competition location, we had many people milling around looking a the pieces, And Congrats to all the Winners! The PPFA booth was busy every time I was around and the Purple PPFA shirts were a hit. If you did not get yours call Nick and get one.

And Russ, I think I am ready! And Thanks for the meds, it works wonders!

Hugh, thank you for your great part in making the PPFA convention the venue for top-quality education. I guess this is the first time in many years that our paths did not cross at the convention. I usually try to attend at least one of your classes, but this year I didn't even see you in the hallways. Looking forward to next year...

Yes, THANK YOU, Hugh!

The show was very good this year, but like Jim, the classrooms were so far apart and there was so much running from place to place, that I barely said hello to a lot of people.

I'm already looking forward to next year!

Yes, the convention was great but it would not be the same without you Hugh! Thank you for everything you do to make picture framers better. You have a wonderful curiosity that allows you to continue to explore the possibilities concerning products and techniques. Each year I wonder what new thing you have up your sleeve to share with us. Thank you!!!
