In this Speaker Series online presentation, Rob will demonstrate the technique of Strip Lining to add stretching selvage to the edges of canvas. After viewing Rob's presentation, attendees will have the knowledge and resources to overcome one of the biggest obstacles in dealing with canvas and fabric-borne art.
An expert and educator on strip-lining canvas, Rob has been in the art and framing industry for over 50 years. He and his wife Barbara owned and operated Gallery Services, a contract framing and installation company; and Artrageous! an art and framing chain with four locations that became a consultancy specializing in corporate art programs with a focus on the healthcare sector.
A widely respected industry leader, Rob was honored with the PPFA Lifetime Achievement Award. He writes extensively for industry publications and has taught at framing venues across the United States, and in Canada, Australia, the UK and Russia.
