For those who can fly to Las Vegas on Southwest, their winter fare sale starts today! The WCAF/PPFA Convention dates are included!!!!
We just got $49 (one way) tickets!
If you collect airline miles/points - the best way to maximize this purchase is to buy Southwest Gift Cards at an office supply store (like Staples) using the Chase Ink card. You will get 5x Ultimate Reward Points, plus the ticket counts as a revenue ticket so you will also get Southwest Airlines points when you fly.
For a limited time, Chase is offering 70,000 Ultimate Reward points for a Chase Ink sign up. There is an annual fee (not waived) of $95 for the card. However, those 70,000 points earned (after meeting the minimum spend requirement) can be redeemed for $700 CASH so for a $95 investment, you get at $605 return. If you save those points (and add to them with credit card spending) they can be transferred (immediately at no fee) to United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Marriott and Hyatt Hotels and have other uses that can make the $605 earned worth a LOT more.
If you have a business, the Chase Ink card is one you should be using. If you are a husband and wife, each can apply for a card in their own name. That DOUBLES the potential sign up bonus for a CASH return of $1210 for a $190 investment.
