There may be some brief periods of down time over the next few days, as we are testing and upgrading to a new version of the forum software.

Apologies in advance if you experience any problems. Most likely this will happen in the early morning (5-7am) hours, and any outages will be brief.

A new version of PHP and of TAPATALK were installed today, as the first phase of updates. For those who don't know, TAPATALK is the free app that lets you easily access the forum from your smartphone or tablet. Look for it in your favorite app store. Search for "PPFA Framers Corner" within the app, to add this forum.
 
The forum software was updated today from VB 4.2.3 to 4.2.5, a newer version of Tapatalk, a newer version of PHP, and a newer version of MySQL. This is why the system was down from 5:30am-9am. If you have any problems or see an error, please report it to the team.

The features remain the same, and these upgrades were purely to keep current and to keep the system secure from any future attacks.

Sorry for any inconvenience that it caused for those trying to access the forum this morning!

A software bug was discovered today, and squashed, that was preventing the forum from sending out ANY emails.

As a result, recent notifications of new posts, of forum subscriptions, new registrations, and PM notifications did not go out for the past 4 weeks.

It's all set now. Sorry about that!
