As of today, Worcester, MA is the snowiest city in the US.
We've had more snowfall this season than ANY other city in the country.
Yes, we beat you Buffalo, we beat you Green Bay, we even beat Anchorage, AL!

Can someone make it stop, please?

I want numbers!

Cliff,

I couldn't find the official stats but know that we are sitting at about 66 inches so far... :thumb:

Yesterdays snow only added about 4 inches, but the high winds and drifting drove me nuts!

Cliff,

WOW - That surpases the Twin Cities record snowfalls... It's got to be a record for Boston/Wooster?

Minneapolis/St Paul Record Snowfalls

Actually, the article I read yesterday said it was our 5th snowiest winter.
Not a record yet, but we're not done. They're saying more snow tonight.

Oh yeah, Believe it or not, we have a VERY different snowfall than Boston, just 50 miles inland.
The Ocean, and lower elevation, significantly reduces their snowfall.

I love snow. Well remember the time I spent a week at my grandparents house. The snow was 4 foot deep and I dug tunnels in their front garden with holes to the surface. When my parents came to pick me up in the evening I took a torch or flashlight with me and in the darkness I was crawling thru the tunnels shining the light upward from every hole I had dug to the surface.

It was magical. A time that never comes back, but will stay in my memory.

In the process I damaged a few precious plants of my grandparents' garden, but they didn't mind.
They loved having their grandchildren around.

You have snow in the Blue Mountains during wintertime don't you Ormond? I heard skiing is possible high up. Many Australians come to Queenstown in the South Island during the winter for their skiing holiday.

One of my customers today said we're in for another storm on Monday? I haven't looked. I don't want to.

Although we are closer to the coast Cliff, where we are there is always more snow than in Boston. And the most snow ALWAYS falls in our street!!!!! True story.

And you don't get as much as Rhode Island either. I flew in to see a customer Thursday night, March 21, and it was snowing lightly, but not that much.

When I flew out Friday to Denver, we ended up getting 13 inches of snow in Lakewood (Denver), but no where near the 66 or 100 inches you are getting. We would love to get more snow. They are voting on imposing water restrictions because of the lack of snow in Denver, next week.

Can you send it our way? Please?
