Reservations Are Now Open for the World Famous Chinese Dinner at the PPFA Convention!

2013 WCAF Chinese Dinner and Limo Extravaganza Reservations are now OPEN!

Reservations are now open for the World Famous Chinese Dinner and Limo Extravaganza to be held at the 2013 West Coast Art and Framing Expo!

Tuesday Night January 29th at 7:00 PM

The event is open to all - Grumblers, PPFA Members, Shop Owners and their employees, Framing Suppliers, etc. -Please join us! Get your reservations in early as this event sells out every year.

This is a small, family run restaurant and we max out their capacity every year. They have asked me to have a set menu served "family style" and I have resisted as the variety of what people order is what makes the food selection so much fun. But, we cannot add more people as the logistics just don't work - so get your reservations in and you won't be left out.

Here's how it works:

Print out the form, complete it- PLEASE PRINT LEGIBLY , enclose your check AND A SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE and mail it to me.

Only reservation forms received with a check and self-addressed, stamped envelope will be honored, first come, first served.

Please be sure to sign your checks ......and include a self addressed, stamped envelope.

I will post and update the list of reservations as they are received. International guests read the info on the form, follow the instructions and you will be included.

PLEASE DO NOT ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST- I will update the official list as reservations are received.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS/NO-SHOWS If you need to cancel, I am sure you can sell your limo ticket to someone else - but please do not come to me and ask for a refund.

If you know you are not coming, please let me know so we will not delay the group looking for you and can take stand-bys as this event will sell out.

We meet outside the Mirage Hotel at 7:00 PM SHARP- as you exit the hotel towards the Taxi Stand, turn to your right and we will gather on the right side of entrance.

The faster we can get organized, the faster we will have the limo pull up to load. PLEASE BRING YOUR LIMO TICKET(S) WITH YOU. The cost of the limo ticket covers transportation ONLY. Food and drink are additional.

At the restaurant, we sit at tables of 8-10 people. I ask that couples that come together sit at different tables, or at least not next to each other. This is a wonderful group and I hope you will make new friends. Everyone orders what they want (including drinks) from the menu and gets first helpings. Then the food goes a lazy susan and is shared by the table. There will be PLENTY to go around (usually people order too much ).

At the end of the night, the restaurant will add up the check and include a gratuity. The number is rounded UP to an amount easily divisible by the number of people at the table and the check is equally shared by all. Please, none of "but you had two beers and I only ordered egg rolls." If this arrangement is not satisfactory, or if you have problems sharing a check that includes alcohol, please do not come. This is one of the most affordable events you will find in Las Vegas and the average check is usually $20-24 per person, including tax and tip for all you can eat and drink.

We will run two limos to the restaurant so we all get there at the same time, and then one limo returning, making two trips. If you have an early class (or want to use it as an excuse to get home early) there is a space on the reservation form to request a seat (first come, first reserved) on the first limo back. We usually return no later than 10 PM.

To answer the question most often asked, NO YOU MAY NOT DRIVE YOUR OWN CAR to save on the limo ticket.

Group participation is what makes this event fun and affordable for everyone.
