PLease post your Tuesday rant below:mmph::mmph::mmph::mmph:!

I am a spoiled brat I know this BUT my old driver used to put my glass in the bins for me and the new guys drops it as close to the door as he can get and this time I did not see where he put it and I rounded the mat sample cart and hit my shin!

End of rant! Well not really but for this second end of rant!

My knee has been wonky ever since Vegas, I have a hernia that should be dealt with (when I can take 2 months off) So i made arrangements with my driver to get a set of keys, I was told they will put glass anywhere I want, it's their job. It needs to go in my basement, its not a long flight of stairs but still. The driver picks up the keys and I tell him where I would like the stuff, he says they are not allowed to go down stairs.....WTH? :mad-new:

I have other companies, who deliver when I am open, they have no problem taking things into the basement.

I had that problem once and complained to management. Turns out the new driver was slacking. Fixed it right away. Of course, I had the option of having my glass delivered from a different source. But still....I would pick up the phone.

MY RANT:

For the third day in a row I ordered from a supplier only to learn the moulding I ordered was out of stock for at least 3 months. Can my customers really have just picked the 3 they don't have? Really? I am beginning to feel like I should just ask them to send me a list of what the DO have.:mmph:

And is there anyone in this business besides a CSR for a large moulding company that doesn't know what a bundle is?

I imagine the suppliers have a few rants about us too....:shame:

Microsoft is trying to force me to upgrade to Windows 10! Before, we could just click "X" and close the pop-up window for the "free" upgrade. Now, we are given 2 choices: 1) Confirm time and close or 2) Start upgrade now. There is no option to simply close the window and keep the current Windows version. Oh, and BTW, once you choose a time to upgrade, if your computer is turned off, the upgrade will start automatically the next time you open your shop and turn on your computer. That happened to us yesterday, during a very rare "rush" of 4 customers. We couldn't use our POS software and had to manually write and price the orders! I was able to stop the upgrade eventually, but then, had to call in a professional computer consultant to fix the damage caused by the "free" aborted upgrade. WTH, Microsoft!

Been too busy to rant.

Got most of my new samples from the PPfA / WCAF convention, and been busy adding them to my 'walls'. Only problem is I got more than I ordered. Not really a problem.

Janet has had to have two different eye surgeries on two different eyes since I returned from Las Vegas. I could rant about her having to do the surgeries, but they worked, and they took care of the problem, so no longer a problem.

So not really much to rant about, right now. but...........

Yes, we were presented with the same option a couple weeks ago on our home computer. I decided to let it do its thing and had my wife schedule it for as far away a time as possible so I could do a secondary backup on an external hard drive (our normal backup is over the internet to my work computer). It was set to update Saturday night last weekend. So far it hasn't happened...
