On a recent Grumble thread there was some really BAD information posted and I wanted to direct readers to the PPFA Bookstore where they should be able to purchase the Guidelines for Framing Works of Art on Canvas.

When I go to the PPFA website (www.ppfa.com) and click on the "store" tab, there are only a few offerings and none of them are any of the Guidelines.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there some other place to order these publications?

It takes a bit of drilling. From the Store link, pick "Training and Certification"; from there click "Custom Framing Certification". The guidelines books show up on the second page.

Hello,

Sorry for the confusion and the books are hard to find. As Jim mentioned, the Guidelines books are found under "Training and Certification." Here is the link. http://www.pmai.org/online/core/orders/category.aspx?catid=7
You can also give me a call and take your order over the phone. I can be reached at 1-800-762-9287 ex.106

Thank you,

Hello Kai,

Sorry about the delay. I have responded to your inquiry you sent yesterday regarding print pieces. I will be emailing you the form and you can fax or email those in. We still have those available here at the office.

Is it possible for Mike Labbe to redesign the PPFA bookstore so that it is easier for us to use.
The FATG has just redesigned their bookstore. It is not perfect, but at least something similar can be achieved.

PPFA staff are doing a great job in Jackson and are probably a bit stressed out by their workload. Thank you.

The bookstore drives me wild. I visit it fairly often so I can refer people to books. I still have to go on a hunt sometimes when I am looking for a particular book.
