2015 PPFA Convention: Attendee Information ​ Thank you for registering for the 2015 PPFA Convention. We’re excited to see you in Las Vegas, January 25 - 28. As you plan your trip, here is some helpful information: ​ Preview Program Available Online You will receive a copy of the printed program when you arrive in Las Vegas, but you can use this online version as you plan your schedule and decide which sessions you will attend. Click here to view the PPFA Convention schedule online. Location The PPFA Convention is hosted by West Coast Art & Frame Expo/The National Conference (WCAF). WCAF will be held at the Paris Hotel, as will some events. Most PPFA and National Conference classes will be held at Bally's next door and connected to the Paris Hotel. Click here to view maps of both Paris and Bally’s. Registration Desk There will be one registration desk for both the WCAF National Conference and PPFA Conference, located in the Paris Las Vegas Hotel just outside the Paris Ballroom Entrance Doors. There will be signs throughout Bally’s and Paris directing you to the registration desk. PPFA will have a dedicated information table next to the WCAF registration desk. Once you have received your badge and registration materials, please stop by the PPFA info table so we can answer any questions about PPFA education sessions or activities. Session Registrations Please remember that you must register for each session you plan to attend – even the sessions that do not require additional payment. If you need assistance registering for additional sessions, PPFA & WCAF staff will be available at the registration area to help you sign up for sessions. Airport Transportation We are pleased to announce we’ve partnered with LASxpress airport transportation service and will be offering cost-effective transportation service between McCarran International Airport and your hotel. This is an exclusive service for the PPFA. By utilizing this service, you are eligible for $11 one-way airport transportation service – more than a 40% saving compared to taxi fare. I am looking forward to Monday’s luncheon and a great presentation we will have. Last year many had winter coats during PPFA lunch. It was quite cold with freezing air blowing all around. Presentation was outstanding, I didn't wanted to miss one minute of it and go to my room to get a jacket. We are customers, so I don’t think it would be unreasonable to ask hotel staff to adjust temperature. The facilities may be older but a major hotel must be able to regulate temperature or simply turn off AC.


Squeaky wheel gets the grease, perhaps we should be more vocal and persistent in complaining. I don't know who is communicating with a hotel, but this should be addressed. We should not be sitting in winter coats during lunch or any other event.

I am bringing down jacket and gloves this time just in case.
