We received an invitation to participate in a Conservation Affiliates Program with Oppenheimer Art Conservation in Chicago. There is no cost to participate and they look very legitimate on their website. Does anyone have any firsthand information about this program? If so, I would appreciate hearing your input. Thank you.

I've never heard of this firm, although I am an objects conservator rather than in books and paper. I have dealt with the Chicago Conservation Center and they have sent me several referrals over the years.

Liz- feel free to contact me at blitzpost@hotmail.com and I can discuss this further. I've learned to be careful as to what I write in public forums.

Thanks,

Over the years I have had several customers who have acquired restored original J.J. Audubon prints from this firm. The restored prints looked fantastic.

Thanks, Paul and Jerry for your responses. I have spoken with the owner, Joel Oppenheimer, and he is sending me more information about the program. I appreciate your help. Liz
