Well, like they say about weddings, if it ain't done by now it ain't getting done. I pen this as I await the last 3 dozen cookies to bake, YEAH Randy Parrish Fresh Baked Cookies, made with LOVE and with only real butter, which means EXTRA love!

Me and the rest of SE's Board has worked our buns off, I thought it was gonna give me a nervous breakdown, but we are about there. And we may be hitting our goal of 100 attendees, I will keep you posted.

David Lantrip, has wonderfully volnteered to chronicle this and be our Social Media Ninja (unofficial title) and post on FB, and here on FC, and maybe even the G. Dunno what he has planned but I am super excited.

We have a FINE representation of National with Robin Gentry, Sarah Beckett, Ellen Collins, Jenn Kruger, David Lantrip, and Carol Graham all attending (all believing in our vision enough to get themselves down to see what all this raucous is about).

We have Framers from all over SE's territory, which is FL, part of GA,, and part of AL; BUT we have framers coming from MI, Canada, NJ, AL MS, MI, OH, RI, GA, NC, SC, WI, GA and FL. I am sure I missed some but I think I impressed my readers!

Make sure you follow Frame Fest and or PPFA Southeast on Facebook. This is gonna be AWESOME!!!!:peace:

I am SUPER proud of you guys!!!! I wish you all the best success, I hope the vendors are breaking out their best offers too.

Also David will be posting for the PPFA main Facebook Page this link or just hit the one on the upper right tool bar.

Sarah Beckett will posting away for the PPFA on Instagram too, also linked on top of the Framers Corner.

It will be quite a long drive for me, but I am super glad I will be able to see framers first hand being festive and sharing their passion.:peace:

This has been so much fun to follow! I hope you have a wonderful event and congratulations on the number of attendees! The name is fantastic and I would like to pursue an event here in the Pacific Northwest. Can I hijack your name for a future event? What is very successful is the way the type is, it becomes a logo and is great for branding. This could develop into events nationwide that celebrate the art of framing and further the PPFA, all under the name of Frame Fest (NW,SW,NE etc.)

Have a wonderful event and I can't wait to hear all about it!

Cathy, you are wrong, it is today.

In fact, looking at my calendar, I realize the first day is more than half over.

well, great job, wish I could have made it. Maybe next year.

The show was busy yesterday and it will probably be even better today with classes starting. Two rooms of vendors. The host hotel is fantastic also And the suites have two separate rooms with a full bathroom, two big screen TVs, 3 beds, 3 sinks, bar, refrigerator, coffee pot, desk, microwave oven. complimentary breakfast and open bar in the evening are included.

It was great to meet Jen Kruger. PPFA president, VP, and some board members are here.

Then theres the issue of Chickies fabulous cookies...

It should be a great day starts at 8 this morning.

Mike
