Freezing weather has come earlier than usual, unfortunately. Shipping glue in freezing weather is risky because if were to freeze, its chemistry would be permanently damaged and its bonding strength severely weakened. Separated glue is ruined and you should throw it away. Stirring or warming the glue would not restore freeze-damaged chemistry; those myths are false.

We appreciate all of the responses to our free sample offer. Nearly all of the samples have been mailed out and should have arrived before the freezing weather hit this week. We hope you will give our colored glue a try and let us know what you think of it either privately or here on the forum.

If you haven't received your sample, we have probably already called or emailed to say your shipment has to be delayed until several days of temperatures above freezing can be assured for the entire transit route.

Freezing ruins all of the typical water-based glues used to join frame miters, and there is no fix for that problem. If your glue arrives frozen you'll know what happened, but often after freezing in transit, the glue can thaw before delivery. So, if the color is inconsistent or there is a watery liquid on top, then it probably has been frozen. In that case, discard it and let us know.
