MCPF exam Sept 6, in Oshkosh, WI

The MCPF exam will be held in Oshkosh, WI on Saturday September 6, 2014.

The exam is being hosted by the Wisconsin and the North Central Chapters.

A picture framer with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in retail or wholesale picture framing, who has taken and passed the CPF Exam, and has taken a Recertification course within the last four years, may apply for the hands-on MCPF exam.

Well worth the nerves and nightmares. I can't tell you how many times that trotting out that credential has put an end to the argument about whether I know what I am talking about. "I am the only framer in Maryland west of Baltimore (hi, Meghan!) and one of less than 80 in the world" pretty much covers it.

Don't take it though, if you are in Maryland. Otherwise you will take away my Big Selling Point! hehehe

Same here, I can't believe I had any nerves left after that. I can tell anyone this; you'll become a better picture framer, it will be hard to think 'pre MCPF' framing methods. And the credibility issue on knowing your trade is HUGE!:loco: It's a no brainer!
