I have a Omga miter saw, I have left and right extension table for the saw but what I don't have and can't seem to find is a decal that I can stick to the extended table for the left and the right side that displays the 45 degree angle lines with inch measurements. I know on my jayden chopper those measurements are carved into the top of the metal table, but I just need to find a sticker or decal that I can place on my mitersaw extended table so it is easy to measure the frame moulding accounting for the rabbet cut. An example is the yellow strip on this manual miterbox table. I just want the yellow decal strip to put on my table.... is there a place that I can buy something like this at?

If you are unsuccessful in finding an off the shelf product, contact a local engraving shop that has a laser. Explain what you need and ask them to engrave it on flexibrass. This material comes in a number of colors and thicknesses, and the variety that is made to be used outdoors should be durable enough for your purposes.

If it wears too much, once the set-up is in the computer, it is a simple matter to replace it.

Sign material provides a more durable surface if the thickness is not a problem. It would probably outlast the saw.

You will never be sorry for establishing a relationship with an engraver. They have similar sized businesses and we have a lot in common. And they are great for solving problems around the frame shop.

I actually did contact Clearmount and they do have the table extensions with the engraved grid but I already have the table extensions and don't want to pay the $650 dollars for new tables, which is what they quoted me for the SW7.
I am trying to keep the cost down. I like that idea of having a engraver, engrave my tables. I will have to see what a engraver would charge for engraving my smooth aluminum extension tables.
Maybe I will try a decal company or a printing company and see if they can't print me up this grid on a plastic material.
Thanks for the info guys.

I agree that an engraver might be your best source for this sort of scale. But if that doesn't work for you, another approach would be to design the scale in full color using a word-processing or CAD program, and have it printed by a sign-maker on an adhesive material, such as vinyl. The scale printed as a sign would not be as durable as an engraved scale, but it could be covered by something transparent; perhaps polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, or glass. No matter what method you use, I hope you can make sure that the increments are more accurate than some of the adhesive scales I've seen.

I believe I have exactly what you are looking for advertised on my web site - www.pictureframingequipment.com If you look on the "Moulding Cutting" page you will see decals for Phaedra systems and for Double Miter systems. Price is much less too - $90 plus shipping.

Check with Jill at Tech Mark. I purchased the grids for both sides from them a year or so ago. Don't know if they still carry them but they did at the time I needed them.
