The Consumer Awareness Committee is always on the look out for a good story or photo to share. It could be a sentences or two or 300+ word blog/story about framing, customer service or something generally educational for consumers. After a conversation Myrna Dow, I asked her if I could quote her, using one of her Facebook photos I made a mock up and she then had a new photo taken...

Actually, "a lot" and "alot" are used interchangeably in informal English usage, even in print. And it is also a very frequent typo even when "a lot" is intended. For formal English, "a lot" is still the preferred usage. Here is most anything you want to know about it:
