It would really be nice if the early registration online to save a few bucks on registration would be working. I've been trying to use it today and it doesn't open and tried a few days ago and it doesn't work. What's the deal?? Is it going to get fixed?

The registration was included with last months PFM. "Discover the WCAF Expo" registration form to register either online or by mail. It isn't listing the classes yet but with this registration we are suppose to save $20.00. Maybe I'm not understanding it????? I know that we usually don't register until the classes are scheduled but why are they asking us to "Register Today www.wcafexpo.com" if they don't want us to register yet? I thought they may want us to register now and pick classes later...

You are able to go ahead and register for the Trade Show Badge/Pass and then when the classes are finalized you receive and email with the class listings. I think the save $20 is the cost of the Trade Show Badge/Pass, but not positive.

Joe, you ID number appears on all invoices, so you should be able to find it on last year's renewal.

Problem being that I believe I paid to my chapter and they didn't send out invoices that I could see or remember. Also, I've been a member for years and can never remember getting an invoice from my chapter or headquarters.

Now for a stupid question from me - why is it so difficult for there to not be some kind of spot on the PPFA website or even here on the Framers Corner so us, who are many (I've spoke to several others that has never seen an ID #) can go to find our ID #? For sure there has to be some kind of spread sheet with all of our numbers listed that could be shown somewhere so we don't have beg to get it. I can never remember getting anything from PPFA with a ID # or an invoice from anyone at PPFA, I may have but I sure don't remember it. I'm not trying to be a pain even though I'm sure I'm looking and acting like one - sorry. Joe

You are not being a pain, Joe. The problem about the member number is that they are all about to change when we migrate to the new database. You should get something in the snail mail soon. Every active member will not actually expire until the bugs are worked out. By the way, you can renew online at ppfadirectory.com.

You make a good point about making it easy to access the information and I will see what I can do about that going forward.

Thank you - I will be watching for the snail mail info. By the way, is there anyway, we as members and not located near headquarters, can help out with some the processing you all are going through. I know there is a lot going on and I would like to volunteer my services if it would be helpful. Joe

I spoke to Debbie today and anyone wanting to register for WCAF and selecting PPFA Member who does not know their member number can enter their phone number in place of the id number. I hope this helps.

And as an FYI, memberships are being processed it is just taking a bit longer than anticipated due to several changes that had to be made after we thought everything was running smoothly. The online registration at www.ppfadirectory.com works great (I used it today to sign up a new member).
