Yes, it's the 11th annual Art for the Animals fundraiser benefiting Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

Our art suppliers donate 5x7 canvases, which local artists turn into art. Howard's then frames them with donated mouldings at no charge. Then the art is hung and there is a silent auction.

All monies associated with the fundraiser goes to Guiding Eyes. Last year we raised $5000.

That's the background. Now the commercial. We depend on our framing friends to help by donating 5x7 frames. No moulding is too ugly that we can't find a piece of art to fit it.

Could you send some frames (joined or unjoined) to 1256 Dual Hwy, Hagerstown MD 21740?

Guiding Eyes thanks you and so do I!

Dear Miss Ellen, MCPF, Have a box of frames headed your way, UPS. Sorry they are NOT joined but Xmas has hit us sorta early and that is nice, busy. The best to you and your charity. Thanks for letting us help.

We were really starting to sweat, because, with only two days until deadline, we had only 90 pieces of art. But the deadline day came and we got in over 100 pieces! So with the frames that have been promised, we should be good for another year, just squeaking by.

Thanks to all of you for your generosity. We know that some of your spectacular frames are the reason why Guiding Eyes for the Blind gets such a healthy check from Art for the Animals.
