Hello all,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I've been framing for 15 years and finally got around to getting my CPF a few months ago (thanks again Cliff Wilson!). Looking forward to hopefully getting more involved in the framing community. :smile-new:

Hi, Tim. Welcome aboard, and congratulations on your CPF achievement.
Are you a cyclist?

Hi Tim - Welcome!
Do you wear a cycling helmet when are about? I used to bike to work every day, but found it too dangerous with many near misses with cars and trucks. Once I got knocked over by a car and ended up in hospital. It is healthy of course.
Good for losing weight and stay fit, does not polute the atmosphere and saves on maintenace-costs for the car.

There are some extra expenses associated, such as punctures, but it is all worth it.

Thanks Jim! Yes I'm an avid road cyclist. Spring can't come fast enough! Do you ride?

I was a serious recreational cyclist until my late 40s, and road-raced for a short time. I haven't been able to ride for a few years, but still have some of the hardware. This Ciocc was my favorite. It is a beautiful bike and, even though it has about 18,000 miles, I have kept it almost like-new.Ciocc-Right View.webp

-Kai, I always wear a helmet and as many reflectors as possible. Generally, Vermont is a very bike friendly state, but I have almost been run over a few times.

-Jim, that is a beautiful bike!

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
