...why I am suddenly not sticking my oar in everywhere, I am leaving today for 8 days in Italy with my 12 year old grandson. We will be going to Rome, Florence, Pisa, Verona and Venice.

As each of my grandchildren turn 12, I take each one to some place of their own choosing. One went to Paris, one to London and this one chose Italy. We are so excited!

We have fond memories of walking around Florence for the day, visiting all the attractions in Rome, etc. We haven't made it to Venice yet, but it's on the bucket list!

It's a great time to travel, temperature-wise.
