I got a parcel in the mail yesterday. Sent from PMA. I got a bunch of deliveries yesterday...whole bunch of retail stuff. UPS guy even commented "you've been shopping" there were THAT many packages. So the PMA parcel was nearly overlooked, as it didn't need pricing and stocking in the shop. AND I wasn't expecting it.

SO eventually I open it up...'huh!' me thinks to me self. I didn't order any books. And then just a simple note. An anonymous one...and I don't have it with me as it's at the shop. It was short and sweet and something to the effect of...."now ya got what you need to pass" and for the chapter library. And THEN a STACK of books. Some of which ASHAMEDly I had never heard of. Like 6 of them. WOW!!!

So whoever sent me the MOST GENEROUS gift of these books, THANK YOU! I couldn't pry your name out of Mikki even tho' she obviously knows. And it couldn't have been better timed, I was just getting really down, it was truly a bright spot. Thank you!

That is very nice deed Cathy. Wasn't me sorry. It is just a process of elimination and you will get to the right person who meant well. Certainly, it is better to give then to receive and the person who was so kind will read your words here and feel as happy as you are. Put the books one by one underneath your pillow and the contents will go into your head as you dream.

Wow! It wasn't me either, but someone had a real good idea! I can't think of anyone more deserving, with your positive infectious outlook.

That was very nice of someone!

Randy! Stop telling people I bit you! :smug: Or I'll have to come up there and bite you.

I kinda thought Markoff too...but there are so many super folks I have met. Mikki more or less confirmed it was a dood, in inadvertently.

I suggest sending everyone you know (starting with me) A batch of your famous cookies (I'll take chocolate chip) That way everyone is covered :)

WE ARE ALL COOKIE HOUNDS!!!!!!!

So many great people out in our framing family!

other moral....... we kinda like that Chickie chick!! YOu got what you deserved!!!:smug:

One way of finding out who did it and this is mean, is for one of us to say:
Yes, it was me. Knowing it wasn't. Then the real giver will get upset and claim responsibility.

Then there is the matter of the books. You probably told someone at Las Vegas, which books you already have and have studied. Then that person thought. Aah, these are the books Cathy does not have and can use. Go back in time to Vegas and think whom you had conversations with regarding studybooks.

It is likely, that none of the books you received are books you already have. Or did you sit the CPF exam without reading any framing books?

Chickie, that's great! You are so deserving of any and all kindnesses bestowed on to you. You are an inspiration to us all with your wonderful outlook.

To her benefactor: Thank you too, for reminding us all that we are here to help one another and no one is alone! :first:

I wasn't thinking of using the word 'Hounds' but one rather similar, but as this is proper framers corner and not warped I shall refrain fro saying it....

BTW, I am completely floored on OH so many levels...as I am also fundraising for a marathon in DC next month for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society...and BY FAR Framers are supporting me MORE than even my customers. I am humbled and awed. I am deeply moved by my peers. Thank you to so very many of you that I have met and have not...you have bowled me over. Thank you. Your kindness is knocking me down. I cannot say enough about how very very kind you folks have been.

I only wish I could send out a MOUNTAIN of cookies. I shall try tho', as I am beyond words.
