So, some advice; join whatever the "frequent gambler club" is in whatever hotel you stay in.

I stayed at Harrah's last year. Joined the "Total Rewards" program.
Played slots for about a 1/2 hour.

This year they comped me four nights stay and reduced my rate for the other two nights.

Yep, I'm booked at Harrah's for 6 nights for a grand total of $116.48 including all taxes and fees.

That's $19.41 a night!

Wow that's quite a bargain! :) That's probably about the same as the resort fee charged by the host hotel.

I just registered at www.totalrewards.com to see if I receive the same offer.

Harry is trying that as well. I don't think it will quite work the same.
He booked at under $50 a night, but figures he'll cancel if he snags soemthing better.

I think you will get special offers all over the strip (I've been getting them all year), but the comped rooms are apparently because I gave them my Total Rewards number when I checked in last year.

Mike, keep your eye open for flights! Harry and I are watching. Leaving Friday 1/25 returning 1/31.

We always take the nonstop Providence ones, and they usually have a big sale every year around this time. (Southwest) They're usually cheaper, on time, and include free luggage.

I haven't even see a non-stop yet.
I've been checking each day.
Even the specials they do have seem to be only out of Boston right now.
I figure if we wait they'll turn up.
If a few of us are keeping our eyes open, we'll have a good chance of snagging a good price.

That's the best deal I have ever heard of. We like Bally's. I will be joining whatever gambling club they have. I never have in past cause I spend almost all my down time out there walking the strip or checking out the hotels. Good to know.

Just booked round trip logan - las vegas on Southwest for $231.50

I just didn't think I'd get much better than that.

Susan, looks like I'm flying in on Friday, so I should be available for the CLC.

Vegas Deals

I don't think anyone can beat Cliff's deal with out a gun and ski mask. I looked at the South West package deals and with air & hotel & Jackpot Savings I got a price of $1340.56 from Baltimore for two for seven nights. Package deal is the best I could find even with a Rewards Card. I don't gamble enough apparently.

Our SW flights are booked, but the hotel is not yet booked. (Friday morning - Thursday afternoon)

I'm still unsure if we're staying at the Mirage again, or at Harrah's (across the street). Harrah's currently has no promotions, but their full rate is $115 for Fri and Sat nights, and $30 per night for the other nights. (still not a bad deal!) Mirage rates are $109 per night + daily resort fee ($25?) before 11/15/12, and $130 + resort fee after that date.

My term as chapter secretary is up in two weeks, so I guess I won't be able to attend the Chapter Leader events this time. I believe it is only for chapter president, vp, and secretary?

In any case, this should be a great show! The SouthWest 40% off air fair sale ents on 10/11/12. Coupon discount code is "Bigdeal40"
