Many of you know that Barbara and I travel in a world of luxury for almost NOTHING! Collecting airline and hotel points is my "hobby" and I have done very well- maximizing the best opportunities to earn points and miles. We travel the world in a level of luxury we could not otherwise afford and have amassed millions of airline and hotel points for doing little other than earning points and miles for our every day spending.
One of the best ways to earn a large number of points is through credit card signups and meeting the minimum spending requirements. As a business owner, you have tremendous opportunities to do so. NOTE - you MUST pay your balance in full to make this work.
Here is a GREAT way to fly to the WCAF for almost nothing (or even to Europe). This is a limited time offer so if it appeals to you, jump on it!
Chase has a 50,000 mile bonus for applying/receiving for their co-branded card with United Airlines with the annual fee WAIVED the first year - with a 50,000 mile bonus for spending $2,000 within the first three months. There are also other benefits (such as waived checked luggage - worth at least $50 round trip per bag).
You can cancel the card when the fee comes due and still keep all the miles earned. This is enough miles for one (and perhaps two) to fly to the WCAF or the Florida event (or to Europe for FREE). Barbara and I have already booked our next trip in April to Portugal using TAP Airlines (which is a United Partner).
If you already have a Chase branded credit card and are turned down, PM me and I will give you the phone number of the reconsideration line and tell you how you can reallocate your existing credit to obtain the card and still get the bonus.
