We had a nice young man come in a few weeks ago and framed a photo from a Daddy Daughter Dance.
Very proud dad! About a week late we got a call from someone telling us they fround a nice frame in the street with our sticker on the back. After she described the frame and image we knew who it belonged to.
With her permission we contacted our customer and told him about the call and gave him her contact info. He was so relieved to have the photo back! Seems as though the little sister had gotten jealous and tossed it out the window as they were driving down the street. In 35 years of framing this is a first!

Oh my. I really hope Mom and Dad paid for any repairs that needed to be made because sis tossed it out the window. Then took it out of her allowance.

Option 2, I'd be tempted to repair it at no charge and score some huge points.

What a story. I think it will be hard for little sis to live that one down.
I'm with David on "option 2" if it isn't prohibitive. This story is going to be told multiple times by that family to a lot of people, and the potential P.R. value of a freebie fix would be fantastic.
