Google listings, telemarketing auto-dialers and Greg Norris

We all get 'em. "This is the Google listings...blah, blah, blah" And they come from everywhere.

Well I also talk to loads of framers on the phone, or rather I drive them nutso on the phone. Well. this one particular dialer is from West Virginia and the same area code as Greg Norris. Stupid dialer gets me every time. I answer the phone excitedly "Darling!" and it's the Google lady! I miss Greg Norris!!!

Can not wait until Vegas folks.

Scummy telemarketers!

Had one today - caller ID shows something like, "medical directive". When I answer it was someone wanting to sell me credit card processing. Next thing you know the call ID will show, "Mom" and she'll be wanting to update your Google listing. :livid:

It makes me slightly uncomfortable that after I have a long distance call, I get a robo call from that area code in a matter of hours, and sometime minutes.

And how exactly did my name get into this mix? I am innocent!:mmph:

My step-father got one a couple days ago and he said it had my name on the caller id. Not sure how they do that. He was not a happy camper when it was a telemarketer.
