gondolas

What are gondolas in relation to pictureframing? I have heard them mentioned a couple of times, but have difficulty visualizing these contraptions. Is someone able to post a photo? Thanks in advance.

That was a bit unexpected to see simple shelves.
What I had in mind were cords strung across the shop from corner to corner with pictures hanging from them, but this makes more sense.
