As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Gallery Salesperson & Frame Designer to join our team and help us provide top-tier service to our clients.

Job Description:
As the Gallery Salesperson & Frame Designer, you will be the face of our gallery and play a crucial role in designing custom framing solutions for our clients. You’ll work directly with customers to help them choose the perfect frames for their artwork, photos, and other cherished pieces. In addition to your sales role, you’ll be responsible for collaborating with the production team to ensure that each frame design is executed to the highest standards.

This is a dynamic position where creativity meets customer service, and your ability to combine art knowledge with framing expertise will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Sales: Greet and assist clients in the gallery, understanding their needs and providing personalized framing solutions.
  • Frame Design: Use your expertise to design custom frames that complement the client’s artwork while considering their style preferences, budget, and space.
  • Consultations: Conduct consultations to recommend appropriate framing options, such as matting, glazing, and frame styles.
  • Sales & Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Order Management: Work closely with the production team to ensure that custom framing orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Gallery Organization: Maintain the gallery space, ensuring it is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing to clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about new framing products, trends, and materials to offer clients the best available options.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work with the production team to ensure the successful completion of all framing projects.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of picture framing, design principles, and framing materials. (Or show a strong desire to learn)
  • Creative mindset with the ability to design unique, custom framing solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse customers.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Previous gallery or frame shop experience is strongly desired.
