Looks like french mats are making a strong come back. Not only with framers, like me, that love them but I saw tons of them at an antique show this weekend also.

Most of the pieces at the show were old art with new or reused and updated framing.

Love this trend I hope it continues!!

Glad to see embellished mats having a resurgence. I'm self-taught and the interest might spark some sharing of techniques (so I can learn the right way to do it).
