You all have heroes in your communities – military service members, police, firefighters, paramedics, corrections officers, security guards, (and other uniformed personnel such as Scouts) – and many opportunities to frame medals, flags, patches and clothing, and more.

In this Powerpoint presentation, with samples, Joyce Michels, MCPF, will discuss how to place medals/ribbons; how to stitch down guidons, flags, patches, and clothing; how to use Melinex (Mylar) to hold medals down, and more, including marketing strategies.

This class – that meets the requirements for MCPF Continuing Education Credit – is open to everyone in the framing industry: with special pricing for members of the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA).

PPFA 2016 will be held at the West Coast Art & Frame Expo/The National Conference, January 24-27, 2016, Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. You can attend classes and special events at both.

Joyce is joined in the PPFA 2016 lineup by Ellen Collins, Meg Glasgow, Rob Markoff, Jim Miller, Chris Paschke, Hugh Phibbs, Linda Pujo, Mark Wallenfang, Cliff Wilson, Russ Wood, and Keynote speaker Leslie Klingner, Curator of Interpretation at the Biltmore Estate.

To register, visit www.wcafexpo.com -- the clock is ticking and classes are filling fast, some are already near to capacity, so take a few minutes and register today.
