Joyce Michels, MCPF, will show you how to frame for the military, police, and other heroes in this session at PPFA 2015, January 25-28, at The Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, concurrent with the West Coast Art & Frame Expo/The National Conference. Special pricing allows PPFA members to take advantage of both events, with convention passes and individual pricing available. Non members are most welcome at PPFA sessions and events.

In this Powerpoint presentation, with samples, Joyce will discuss how to place medals/ribbons in order of precedence; how to stitch down guidons, flags, patches, and clothing; how to use Melinex (Mylar) to hold medals down, and much more. The methods also apply to items for Scouts, sports and more. Joyce will also discuss pricing and marketing strategies.

Joyce will also team with Ellen Collins, MCPF, in a new class: “Framing for Fido - Pet-Themed Shadow Boxes,” showing framers how to get a slice of a multi-billion dollar pet market; and she and Ellen will also teach “Mounting Textiles.”

These 3 classes will fill fast! To avoid disappointment – and also to take advantage of Early Bird pricing that ends December 20 – visit our PPFA 2015 page for details and a link to registration on the WCAF site – look for PPFA 2015 in their agenda.

Other PPFA speakers are Ellen Collins, Jared Davis, David Lantrip, Rob Markoff, Jim Miller, Chris Paschke, Hugh Phibbs, Linda Pujo, John Ranes, Suzanne Smeaton, and Linda Wassell.

See you all in Vegas!
