This sign has adorned my storefront since 2002. We are moving to a new location next month and can not use this large sign, so it will be taken down in late May. It is in good condition.

The sign consists of "channel" type letters 5" deep and about 24" tall (except the "R" is a bit taller), individually mounted and wired. According to the sign company that made it and will take it down, this sign would cost about $3,500 to $4,000 today. Each letter has twice the usual amount of neon inside, so it is the brightest sign in the shopping center.

Since the letters are individual, you could use "FRAME" and "ART" as separate words.

Location: Central Ohio

Available by June 1, 2012

Price: $2500 or best offer

Packing and shipping at buyer's expense. Or, you are welcome to pick up. Or, I will meet you half-way, up to 150 miles from Columbus, Ohio for a nominal fee to cover time and fuel.

Kai, I'm afraid these letters, like me, will only become old and rusty over time. :sorrow:

But for the next decade or so, they will make a good sign for someone's frame shop.

I'd love a sign like that!

Unfortunately, I had to fight to get my 5' x 3' unlit sign!
In my section of the city, backlit signed are prohibited.

Signs are the best use of marketing dollars in my opinion!

Years ago I saw a similar-sized outdoor sign hanging inside a frame shop - I think it was in Los Angeles, but not sure. It was lighted and looked impressive.

You could do that, Cliff. Add an "S" to FRAME and an ampersand ("&") to make "FRAMES & ART", and it would look great! I'd do that myself, but the new shops' gallery will be very small and have an 8 ft. ceiling.

Transformers for thhe neon and all hardware are included.

Sincde "ART" and "FRAME" can be separately used, a lot of art galleries and frame shops could use this sign.

Offers invited.

Going...going...

These 8 individual channel letters are still available, and any reasonable offer to take them off my hands will be considered. If nobody wants them, the letters will soon be scrapped.
