I don't usually like to post ad-type posts, but I am trying to help get the word out on this event, and Mike said this would be a good place to do so.
Barb Pelton of Artfully Framed in Poplar Bluff, MO is working with the Margaret Harwell Art Museum to put on an exhibit showcasing artwork from artists in all fifty states. She has asked me to represent Rhode Island, so I will be sending one of my pastel paintings. In my last correspondence with Barb, she provided a list of states that they are still seeking submissions for: Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, North and South Dakota, and Hawaii. Barb is asking if anyone in those states has a gallery that represents an artist, or knows of a gallery who would be interested, if they would consider submitting a piece to the exhibit. It IS a selling showing with gallery/artist consignment terms, and the art does NOT have to be state-specific.
