Hello to all and farewell to all!

I didn't know how to most effectively reach out to the many framing folks I worked with over the years. I hope this short note will suffice.

I am so greatly encouraged that PPFA is under new management. Although I appreciate the staff at PMA, it seemed as though PPFA was too often on the back-burner and dwindled tremendously over the past several years. I truly hope that new management will bring new enthusiasm and revitalize and grow the membership. I am also greatly encouraged by the new board. They are amazing folks with great talent and vision.

Unfortunately, after 20 years in the association, I need to say farewell. I am thankful for a new position in the Federal Government, but with the new management position and acquisition authority, my membership and participation in PPFA is considered a conflict of interest and I must withdrawal my membership. (I'll cross that bridge next week after I purchase a few more Guideline books!)

I have worked with and greatly respected so many of you over the years. You are simply the best framers and colleagues in the industry. I have seen and judged some of he best framing on the planet, learned from the best instructors, and had some of the most fun I could imagine. I and am proud to have been a member for the past two decades. I will miss my PPFA family, but will continue to support by encouraging framers I encounter to join and hope they catch the bug that held my attention for so long.

Sincerely,

Congratulations on your new position! And Thank you for all you have done for PPFA and Framing over the years. We appreciate all your help over the years and will miss having you as part of the organization. Just remember you are always welcome at any PPFA Event.

Congratulations Craig!

I also send a BIG thank you for being a loyal PPFA member. Friendship and information sharing is valued as the best part of being a PPFA Member and you sure helped to make me feel welcomed. Craig, you still belong and you always will! I hope any future participation will not be "viewed as a conflict" if you feel moved to attend any PPFA event.

Best Wishes in your new federal government position!

Farewell, Craig.

Your contributions to PPFA and to framers everywhere are appreciated. We will miss your participation and will look forward to your return when you retire from government service.
