Enter the PPFA Framing Competition!
The 2016-17 PPFA International PRINT Competition is a themed challenge entitled “Grandma’s Buttons.” Competitors choose their own seven “vintage” buttons to frame. Parameters are available in the PRINT entrant packet.
In the OPEN competition, pretty much anything goes - past entries have included some wonderfully imaginative ideas.
Chapter level entry forms for the competition are available in the Online Store at www.PPFA.com. Under "Competition" in the drop-down menu at the top of the Online Store landing page, you'll find packets for Entrants, Judges, Secretaries, and Organizers.
You will also register under "Competition" for the OPEN and/or PRINT competitions. You may enter either or both.
The entry fee is $50 for PPFA members for each competition.
For nonmembers, the cost is $225 for the first competition, (includes $50 entry fee and $175 PPFA membership dues, discounted by $20); and $50 for the second competition.
The top 3 winners from each Chapter are eligible to compete at the finals that will be held during the PPFA 2017 Convention, Jan 22-25 in Las Vegas, hosted by the West Coast Art & Frame Show. Entry forms for the finals will be available later this year, also in the Online Store.
