An MCPF in "bad standing" would be one who has allowed his/her certification to expire by not keeping up with the requirements for MCPF maintenance classes. Moreover, the good standing must be ongoing, since an MCPF in good standing today could possibly become expired by the time he/she is called to instruct a future Recertification class.
