Did Crescent really introduce a high-end hand-made matboard at the show? One of my vendors says it will sell for over $100. Was he messin' with me? I can be quite gullible at times.

I heard that they have some new LAAAARGE boards.
I'm real interested in having large boards available, so that is good news. But he was talking 32 x 40's in the $100 range.

Yes, they did introduce some new fancy rags in the 32 x 40 size. You can by the samples for $75.00, which includes the corner sample holder. Once you buy 2 mats, you send in something to Crescent, and they return the $75.00.
I have not received my samples yet, but I expect to, within the next few weeks.
I have already contacted my local distributor and they placed their order, for the actual mats, today.
They look great! Kind of like the metallics from Nielsen Bainbridge, but suitable for preservation framing. I didn't spend much time looking at them, but my rep Christie pointed them out.
They also introduced some oversized rag mats (solid rag) and will be introducing some more fabric later in the year.
