We currently have our corner samples displayed diagonally, grouped by vendor. It looks striking and many customers have complimented the wall, calling it "a work of art". But, adding new frame samples is tedious and the diagonal layout wastes space, so I am considering re-doing the walls with the more common straight vertical column layout. My plan would be to organize the columns by style/color, rather than by vendor, leaving a little space at the bottom of each section for adding new samples. I think it would facilitate selling and also be easier to replace the samples afterwards. There are pro's and con's for both layouts and it's a big job, considering we have over 1,000 samples, so I thought I would request input from other shops first. Thank you in advance for your comments.
