It sounds like a great and well organized event!. I love the $100 special offer for new members, for a membership until 10/30/2014, lunch, and all 3 classes. What a bargain!

This is lining up to be a terrific opportunity to learn new techniques and ideas from Jim Miller. A great selection of classes to expand our knowledge of picture framing and keep all of us competitive in the industry. I am looking forward to the meeting to learn and also to see many of my framer friends! See you there!

Thank you Julia. I appreciate that.

I haven't been to any PPFA meetings yet - funny that my first one isn't going to be in my own chapter. I am SO looking forward to attending Jim Miller's classes (I'm such a class junkie), visiting Portland again and of coarse, meeting some fellow framers.

Sure hoping that I can make it! I should know in two or three weeks...

Here's your opportunity to visit the beautiful Pacific Northwest! We're excited to bring Jim Miller to our Chapter meeting and are looking forward to seeing everyone for a great day of education and networking!

Thanks, Gail!
Would you send me your e-mail and I'll send the registration form. I sent a pm to you answering your questions.
Anyone else? Send me an e-mail and I'll send you the registration form and information.

Tomorrow June 23rd is the day for great classes with Jim Miller! There is still a little bit of room so, come and see us and fill yourself with great new skills, great conversation and great food! Don't miss this wonderful opportunity!

I'd like to say THANKS to everyone who worked to make today's meeting successful. The PPFA leaders cooperated beautifully, Framer's Inventory had their warehouse looking well organized and absolutely spotless, the luncheon was excellent, the sponsors were generous, and best of all, the framers were cordial and enthusiastic to be there.

Tonight a few of us went to the Marakesh Restaurant for delectable Moroccan food and fun. When I sat down of one of the little, round ottoman-looking seats about 6" off the floor, the edge collapsed and I fell over backwards. I scrambled to my feet and...did the same thing again. Third time was the charm. The laughter subsided after a while and we had a wonderful meal. The belly dancer was a hoot, too.

It was a great weekend in a beautiful and very friendly city. Thanks, Portland!

Yes indeed it was a great day! Thank you Jim for presenting three wonderful classes. We spent the day being rejuvenated with new skills and ideas and shared enthusiastic discussion between framers. On my journey home, I felt full of new information and inspiration. It was a pleasure to meet new framers from all over the Pacific Northwest. Thank you also to the sponsors and the Cascade Chapter Board who worked to make the day a success for all! Our dinner at the end of the day had a lot of entertainment - including some from Jim! Definitely a terrific day!

Better late than never? I meant to do this right when I got back...

Thank you to everyone in the Cascade Chapter for being so kind to an "outsider". It was great to meet everyone!

Framer's Inventory is quite an impressive facility. Thank you for extending your hospitality.

And a big thank you to Jim Miller. As always, his classes were all wonderful and packed with tons of great advise and information. You are always so very generous with sharing your expertise and knowledge.

This was a wonderful event, and for me... well worth the trip!

Gail
