Russ Wood will show how to build profits, one layer at a time!

His PPFA 2016 class on Jan. 25 will demonstrate mat alternatives with unique but relatively easy designs. The focus will build on decorative papers that are an easy accent, with examples of more involved options, such as wraps, bevels, lines, panels, and more. Alternative marketing, designing, and pricing strategies will be discussed.

Russ will be back on Jan. 26, with “Bevels – Bevels – Bevels: From Quick and Easy to Gesso.”

He will discuss watercolor, gauche, acrylic, pastel, leaf, gesso, and a few others, and show several methods, including brush, stick-pen, markers, direct wiping, paper towel, and decorative paper wraps, with examples. Some are quick and easy while others require more time but both result in luminous multi-layer variegation. Marketing, pricing, and profitable benefits of using colored bevels will be discussed.

Both these classes are new to the PPFA Annual Convention, held at the West Coast Art & Frame Expo/The National Conference, January 24-27, 2016, Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.

Early Bird pricing ends Sunday, Dec. 20 -- Visit www.wcafexpo.com and register now!
