I wonder if the CMI grey is the same as what LJ is selling? We are still using Lineco, but started out with Brown and then Black for several years. (Black fades terribly and gets brittle, so we switched to Lineco about a decade ago)

It is a darker gray color, but is about the same weight. I have been using it for a couple of years, since Decor discontinued their black kraft that was infused with latex. That was great because it was heavier weight, looked great, and did not fade or deteriorate because of the latex. I now prefer the CMI gray, although I wish it was a bit thicker and more puncture-resistant. I also have a roll of the LJ "gray", which is fine, but its color reminds me a little too much of the color of the outer layer of a hardboiled egg yolk that has been removed from the white of the egg. :playful:
