Hello!

I know many of you from the other framer's forum, but wanted to give an official introduction here. I finally turned in our PPFA membership in early December of last year. I'm from Tucson, Az and have been framing for just over 13 years. My parents first opened the shop in 1995 as a franchise. Due to a very unusual turn of events, we moved to our current location and became an independent store. It has been the best decision we have ever made. The road has been bumpy since then, my Dad passed away in September of 2008. However, the store stays strong due to his Southwest Photography. We still focus our art to his photos and it's been successful. Thankfully we've been able to weather the economy storm. I think with the knowledge and support that is given in this small community, I'll be able to move forward to whatever may come our way.

I owe an amazing amount of kudos, thanks or whatever to everyone I have met. Just an amazing bunch of lovely people.

Hi Erin.

I think you'll find this group to be as friendly as on the "other" forum, but the crazies haven't found us yet. And since this is not open to the public, we can speak more freely about proprietary information, prices and such.

It's all good.

It was AWEsome meeting Erin in Vegas, even though I didn't know her from the other forum. Another friend introduced us, and even though it sometimes takes me a bit to warm up to people, we hit it right off. Very glad to have met her. It was AWEsome. :playful:
