After 35 years Barbara and I have decided to close our frame shop. It has always been a dream to travel and live abroad and we leave April 26th with one way tickets to Europe. After doing some traveling we will settle in Belem, Portugal until the EU kicks us out due to visa restrictions- then move to Pula, Croatia. We are renting our house out in San Diego until we return.

When we do, Barbara will continue to do corporate consultation, we will subcontract our framing and I will continue to supervise installation - but we will no longer do our own framing.

In the next few weeks I will publish a list of things for sale - there are 35 years of tools (from 4 fitting stations) including coiled air hoses with filters, fitting tools, pneumatic fitting guns, hand tools, 2 straight-line mat cutters, oval cutters, 3 wall cutters, 2 v-nailers, a 51 x 100 hot press and a 40 x 60 cold press, lots of new in box photo frames (which I want to sell as a "lot"), hardware, and so much more. I have two double miter saws, a sliding table saw, and a unisaw. A JET dust collector, a JET hanging air filter, a spray booth. I am on the fence about my Gunnar F-1 hybrid with pen tool but could be persuaded. We have track and track lights (a LOT of both single and 2 circuit HALO track with various connectors), lots of track fixtures (with LED lamps) and Halogen Lamps, print sleeves, print bins (the rolling kind).

If interested, we have beautiful storage racks and work stations that would be worth renting a truck to come get. A 20' design counter, lots of flat files, filing cabinets, office equipment etc.

I have closed corner samples from Munn, AMPF, FFMI. If there is interest, lots of other corner samples (or they will be trashed). I have acrylic mat racks, and wooden mat racks. I have fabric samples from all companies.

Rob and Barbara, you dreamed about this and now you made it happen," CONGRATULATIONS".

"Here's to the festival of life."

Wishing you the VERY BEST in your new ventures.
Dave and Darlene Hewitt.

As long as you continue to have your birthday celebration abet a little early each year, in Las Vegas.

Best for both of you, and we will celebrate this January.
