Jessica Hack Textile Restoration studio tour. Jessica Hack Textile Restoration was founded in 1979. After more than 30 years in operation, the studio has grown from a single conservator to a staff of senior conservators, technicians, and apprentices.Specializing in the restoration and conservation of historic textiles, we provide services to private individuals, collectors, galleries, historic homes and museums.
Textiles in Framing group discussion lead by industry leaders. A wide variety of examples of frame designs that incorporate items of clothing and other fabric artifacts into shadow box presentations that really tell a story as well as provide a safe way to display the textile. We will also have a hands-on demonstration of lacing and couching for needleart. Attendees are invited to participate and show their own works and designs. Please bring your photos on paper or on flash drives so that we can share and discuss.
