I had an elderly lady coming into my shop this morning inside a walking frame.
She had an old picture with broken glass and told me, that it belonged to her father.
He was a repairer of radios and went to people's houses to repair them. When some folks had no money he looked at their walls where there were all sorts of pictures hanging.

Instead of paying, these customer gave him one of their pictures.
Upon opening I noticed four used matchsticks, that were used to keep the glass in place, as it was cut too small originally.

It worked for that framer and maybe an idea for one of you.
