Can't wait for all of the pictures to be posted. Congratulations.

Well since all of the pictures have not yet been posted, I'll go ahead and post a picture of my piece, as it is now up on my site.

Kai, the piece of chami was hand cut and stained. I scanned the rock and took it into Pathtrace on my Wizard and cut and recut the mat to shape of rock. I then did a friction fit of the chami and the rock into the mat. (Sink Mat) It made it to Vegas and back without any slippage. :smug:

This is a side view of the 2 moulding that I joined together for the competiton piece
I entered in Vegas. The two pieces were joined together to create the depth I
needed for the frame. The second piece was cut on it side profile and after
filling and sanding, I carved in some lines to blend the two and then refinished
both pieces to match. The top moulding was Nelson's 3111 @1.25" and the back
moulding was Nelson's 3120 @1". What you see in the photo is the face of 3120
joined to the side of 3111.

Got to agree with Mike. The latest FMO looks fantastic and is a credit to Sheila and the team. Thank you for keeping us informed.

I have included some photos of my open piece. Sorry for taking so long. Still finishing off my backlog after Vegas
