NASTY data breach at Marriott Starwood Hotels, that has been happening for 4 years. More than 500 MILLION customers info was potentially taken. They got customer names, addresses, phone#, email, credit card numbers w/exp dates, passport numbers, DOB, and gender. They then can use all that info to log into other websites, get new credit cards, use your existing card, etc.

DUNKIN DONUTS was also breached recently. Info stolen from Dunkin database included first and last name, email address, password, 16 digit Dunkin DD Perks credit account # (most have those tied into regular credit card for auto recharge)

If you have an account with either of these companies, and use the same password in multiple places, I suggest changing it everywhere else, ASAP.

With all these internet data breaches, it might be wise to go back to the old system of CASH. :sorrow::mad-new:

4 years and nobody noticed the loss?

Thanks for the info Mike.

I used a credit card at Dunkin Donuts on Saturday, but luckily,I don't go to Dunkin enough to have their frequent customer card; mine is at Einsteins Bagels.

again thanks for keeping us informed.
